Generating Content 101 – Just Start Writing

Are you like me? Do you find yourself getting stuck with what to write on your blog. Aren’t there plenty of people out there already doing the same thing – writing the same information? Maybe even doing it better than you?

Yes, there are.

However, there will always be someone better than you, smarter, wittier. The percentage is so low, it’s safe to say no one is ever the top dog. Yet, you can still help your customers and clients grow with the information you do know, crafted and molded just for them.

And there are reasons people will continue to come back to your blog to read what you have to say. Maybe it’s the way your write, or how you write it. Your funny or direct point of view. Or simply, you might just break it down for them in a way they can understand… in a way no other person has been able to do for them.

But you can’t discover what that is until you start writing.

Brainstorm and jot down your ideas for blog posts. Write those things you know a bit about. Once you start putting them on paper, you will have a better idea for blog posts. There’s plenty of content fodder in our minds. Our ideas are fleeting and sometimes we just need a reminder of what that good idea was.
